Make a Difference

All donations will be sent directly to the school and will be used on student activities  including Academic Bowl, international deaf studies, athletics and community activities. We are especially interested in having the students become deaf leaders in the hearing community.

The picture below was taken in April ’10 in front of the school.  The second-graders along with their teachers graciously agreed to be in our picture. They are very excited about our trip.

Here are some donation suggestions:

$1.00/mile – do the math, that’s 3819 miles!

$0.10 / mile - do the math,  that’s $381.90.

$250 – because we were gutsy enough to even attempt this

$100 – because we are riding a bicycle for 3919 miles and not you

$50 – because this is a neat thing to do for deaf kids

$25 – because it makes a difference to a deaf second-graders doing an art project

If you chose to contribute please give whatever you feel comfortable giving. No matter what you give, it will make a difference.
